Dinner program at school!

I have been confused over time about the amount of meals we as tax payers provide folks...but then I worked in a public school setting.  It is amazing how many of these kids start their day with no food and look forward to "hot lunch."

Like it or not, kids need food to learn.  If they live in a situation that they are not being provided for, we need to provide some basics for them to even begin to be in an educational setting.  article

Safety concerns

I was so surprised to see that we are looking into ways to reduce safety in our new homes.  Check out this recent article  indicating that we don't need some of these devices.  There is nothing good about reducing the requirement for these devices...they save lives!  Is this just to have contractors save money?
