The 2/27/13 meeting of the Public Safety Commission has been cancelled.  The next meeting is scheduled for 3/27/13.

Facilities committee...big agenda item "facilities study"

I believe one of the most important discussion and potential action items for the next few years will be around the Bray Facility Study.  We as a city will be looking at this study to make determinations of how to move forward regarding our facilities (fire will likely be the leading discussion item within the study).  If you have not looked at this study, please do (see link below) and get involved at the committee level and come to the council meetings to share your opinions.

Monona Grove official hired as Jefferson superintendent

I wish Craig Gerlach well in his new position.

My concern is why folks in the MG community are yet to be notified?  Many folks are hearing this information from either the Jefferson school district web page (link), or other sites (the Monona Rag had something to talk about Link).  Yet the MG website is silent as of now (its about 8pm on Wednesday http://www.mononagrove.org/)

I get notifications if there is a kid with strep throat or lice, but not when our superintendent has accepted a new position...seems like there should have been a joint announcement between the two districts.  Poor communication on many fronts.
