a. Consideration of Resolution 12-04-1857 Purchase Approval of Public Works Plow Truck Cab/Chassis (Public Works Committee).  $80,027.51 (with a 6,000 trade in) SEE ITEM 2(c) for amount saved from anticipate cost.

2. New Business. 

a. Consideration of Ordinance 5-12-639 Amending Section 2-3-7 of the Code of Ordinances Concerning the Chief of Police (Police Chief). 
Passed 6-0

* b. Consideration of Resolution 12-05-1860 Approval of Participation in a Wisconsin Bureau of Transportation Safety Grant Titled: 2012 Smart Grant (Public Safety Commission). $8000 grant funding, with a cost to the city of $2000.  Total impact is $6000 applied to overtime wages during the time from May through September 30th of 2012

c. Consideration of Resolution 12-05-1861 Purchase Approval of 2012 Plow Truck Equipment Package (Public Works Committee).  $54,426  TOTAL SAVINGS FROM TWO PROJECTS = $20,546.49

d. Consideration of Resolution 12-05-1862 Purchase Approval of Lawn Mowing Equipment (Public Works Committee).$38,5000 Budgeted $75,000 SAVINGS OF $36,500

Convene in Closed Session under Wisconsin Statute section 19.85(1)(g) Conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved (Litigation Status Report, Attorney Cole) and section 19.85(1)(e) Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session (Update on Potential Developments).

1. Report Concerning Vapor Intrusion at Monona Grove High School. 
Brief comments from Mayor Miller on current status.  The city, school and

Alder O'Connor indicated the new routes for the Monona Express will start June 1st click for updates on the city page
Alder Speight reminded the public that we have some open slots on committees and encouraged community members to consider getting involved.
